My Big Fat Vintage Wedding - The Accessories

It wouldn't be a Big Fat Vintage Wedding without Big Fat Vintage accessories!

Something old - My late Grandmother's wedding ring on the right.
Something new - I sourced this handmade clutch purse from Etsy and used it to carry my lady items around (iphone and lipstick).

Something borrowed - My sister-in-law Ally Oops lent me her (clean) handkerchief, but I didn't return it.

Something blue - My garter was sourced from Etsy and was so tight it doubled up as a tourniquet just in case my left leg was bitten by a snake during the ceremony

My shoes were uncomfortable, but they twinkled!

My engagement ring surrounded in feathers
I wore a feathery wrap I stole from a flock of sleeping ostriches.

All this wedding accessorising made me sleepy

I wore a birdcage veil and closed my eyes
I pinned my hair back in a vintage way and held it in place with a feathery fork
My bouquet was vintage coloured and David Austin roses.

The florist entered my bouquet in a flower competition and they came runner up!
